1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Unask (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Unask (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an AI-powered user research service operated by Jae-seong Jeong (sole proprietorship). Throughout these Terms, “Unask” refers to both the Service and the business entity operating it.

2. Description of Service

Unask is an AI-powered user research platform that generates synthetic personas and conducts simulated depth interviews to help product teams validate ideas. The Service provides automated interview simulations, problem scoring, segment analysis, and research reports.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Credits and Payment

• The Service operates on a pay-per-run credit system. No subscription is required.
• Credits are purchased in packs and never expire.
• Each simulation run consumes one credit.
• All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, tax compliance, and payment processing. Prices are listed in USD.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

5. Refund Policy

Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on refunds and cancellations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.
• Use the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or fraudulent content.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Unask. Research outputs (reports, transcripts, and analysis) generated through your use of the Service belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your research data.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The personas, interviews, and analysis produced by Unask are AI-generated simulations. They are not real people and do not represent actual user feedback. Results should be used as a supplement to, not a replacement for, real user research. We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated outputs.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your data as described therein.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unask shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Seoul, Korea.
